Open Data - Live Flood Warnings and Alerts API - Version 3
API change historyNatural Resources Wales issues flood warnings and alerts to specific geographical warning and alert areas. This API provides a listing of all current warnings and alerts and is updated within minutes of a flood warning or flood alert being issued.
Note: This version will now return the Tidal attribute as ‘True’ if a message is in force over a tidal flood warning or alert area. The file header has less content and enforces HTTPS in line with security standards.
Active Flood Warnings and Alerts by Severity
Live Flood Warnings and Alerts Data can be used in conjunction with corresponding Flood Alert and Flood Warning shape files available at the Lle Geo-Portal. Developers should note that these shape files are created, edited or removed periodically.
Active Flood Warnings & Alerts by Severity is available as a single GeoJSON data structure, which returns a list of Active Flood Warnings & Alerts with a given severity.Returned Properties
